License to Kill (1989) - A Prop Dollar Bill

This Prop Banknote was used in Director John Glen’s 1989 Bond Film 'License to Kill' starring Timothy Dalton. Banknotes of this kind were used in the scenes when Bond foils Franz Sanchez's (Robert Davi) latest drug shipment and steals five million dollars in revenge for the murder of his friend. The banknotes were used again later in the film when Bond frames one of Sanchez's henchmen by placing the five million dollars into a hyperbaric chamber. This banknote comes mounted inside a framed display featuring two corresponding stills & a descriptive plaque. It was originally acquired as part of a bundle of bank notes from a member of the Film’s Production Crew.
